Clemens en August is a Men’s and Women’s ready to wear lifestyle brand, founded by Alexander Brenninkmeijer in 2005.
The collection is sold exclusively on "tour“ and online in contemporary art centres and museums around the world. Each season, Clemens en August "tours“ just 10 cities in Europe, and the US for 3 days per city.
This direct customer relationship allows the brand to cut out all retail margins, creating an exclusivity based on limited availability of a finely and fair produced collection rather than an overpriced ticket.
