Washed up on shore: H&M Beach Store

Shopping with your feet in the sand? That was possible last weekend on the beach of Scheveningen, the Netherlands. Last Saturday it seemed as if a big sea container had been washed ashore on one of Holland’s beaches. In this temporary store we sold H&M’s WaterAid collection during Saturday and Sunday.

This year’s WaterAid collection consisted of beach essentials for the entire family, such as jumpsuits, wrap dresses, bikinis and sun hats for women, shirts, shorts and espadrilles for men and cute mini-versions of all designs for children. There were also beach chairs, sun umbrellas and other accessories in the same theme available. Everything came in blue shades - the color of water – and fitted perfectly in the scenery of the beach with the sea as its backdrop.
